Providing Cremation and Funeral Services to Guelph and Area since 1941.

DONAGHEY, Karen Lynn – Of Guelph, passed away peacefully with family by her side on November 17, 2022, at the age of 61.
Loving mother to her sons Conor and Quinn Donaghey. Dear sister to Susan Hermann and Patti (Brian) Finlay. She will be missed by her nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and her dog Jasper.
Karen adored her boys with all her heart. Even though there were many shenanigans, she still had a special place in her heart for them. Karen always had dogs in her life starting with Boomer, adopting his sister Kasta and most recently her beloved Jasper. She enjoyed taking her boys and Jasper on nature walks often taking photos of the beautiful surroundings and animals. Her evenings were spent watching British TV shows such as Poirot and Miss Marple and she suffered through Top Gear for her son. She was a phenomenal baker with a specialty for Nanaimo bars. Karen would often get caught sneaking her beloved dark chocolate. Many excursions were spent canoeing the Speed River and when younger she loved to ski and compete in synchronized swimming.
Family and friends will be received for a memorial visitation at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, on Saturday, November 26, 2022 from 2 – 4 pm. (519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com)
Memorial contributions to Myeloma Canada would be appreciated.
