LEE, Beverly May (nee Darnell) – 66, of Guelph, Ontario, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2022.
Bevvie leaves behind her beloved husband Harold of 46 years, her loving children Janine (Brian) and their children, and Brian, her sister Linda Campbell (Fred), nieces and nephews Cindy (Phil), Steve (Bev), David and their children, Von (Kate), Bob (Jen). She is predeceased by her parents, John and Jean Darnell, in-laws Carl (Evelyn) Lee, son Kevin and brother Paul Darnell.
She was a loving wife and cherished best friend to Harold, her smile infectious, her warmth genuine, her hugs lasting. She never let anyone sit alone or feel anything but welcome. She loved her dogs and music, always singing along to the radio or music players and had a genuine passion of making crafts.
Bev was a dedicated worker in whichever role she held. Her bubbling personality was a highlight in her coworkers days. She started working at Victoria and Grey Trust as a bank teller, where she met her husband. Soon after, she was a floater at the Guelph Police and worked her way up to Executive Secretary for the Deputy Chiefs. She stayed at home raising her children for a few years, then ventured back into the workforce as secretary at Semex Alliance and later into the graphics department and doing webpage design. Following this, Bev did clerical worked at City of Guelph in Engineering, Environment and Transportation, payroll at Operations Department until she retired at 65. She was kind, thoughtful, and generous in nature; “Live Laugh Love” being her motto. Bev’s memory will be cherished by her friends and family.
A memorial drop-in for Bev and her brother Paul will be held Sunday, November 27th, 2022 at 75 Cardigan St. Guelph from 1 to 4 pm. Arrangements entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Guelph Humane Society or a charity of your choice.
A tree will be planted in memory of Beverly May Lee in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.

• Ongoing communications with those that we serve to ensure that they are aware of the current Covid-19 status of our municipality and the accompanying guidelines.
We continue to rely on the advice provided by health experts and are committed to doing all we can to keep our community healthy.
